Categories and Eligibility Guidelines
General Rules

1. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to verify the eligibility and playing level of all participants.
2. Any participant who provides false or misleading information shall be disqualified.
3. The Tournament Committee's decision on all eligibility matters shall be final and binding.

Category 1: Beginners Minus – Local
Eligibility
• Open exclusively to bonafide residents of Barangay Buenavista.
• Both players must be classified as Beginners Minus.
• Both players must not have reached the podium (Champion, 1st Runner-up, or 2nd Runner-up) in any recognized Beginners pickleball tournament.

Category 2: Beginners Minus – Open
Eligibility
• Open to all players regardless of municipality or city.
• Both players must be classified as Beginners Minus.
• Both players must not have reached the podium (Champion, 1st Runner-up, or 2nd Runner-up) in any recognized Beginners pickleball tournament.

Category 3: Advanced Beginners to Intermediate
Eligibility
• Open to all players.
• Players who have reached the podium in any Beginners category are eligible.
• Intermediate players are eligible.
Special Rule
• An Intermediate Champion may participate only if his or her partner:
◦ Is a Beginners player; and
◦ Has never been a Champion in an Advanced Beginners category.
