The halls of the MSU College of Law at MSU Gensan are once again filled with aspiring advocates ready for another semester of learning, arguing, and surviving law school.

The Bantugen Debate and Moot Society recently conducted its semestral planning session, bringing together its officers and members to discuss the Society’s plans, programs, and priorities for the upcoming semester.

The session provided an opportunity to assess the Society’s direction, set objectives, and lay down initiatives that will further strengthen Bantugen’s activities in debate, moot advocacy, and legal education.

With plans in place, Bantugen looks forward to another semester of meaningful programs, active participation, and continued growth.

The Bantugen Debate and Moot Society is honored to welcome 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐄. 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐈𝐈𝐈, 𝐂𝐏𝐀, 𝐑𝐄𝐁 as the Society's new Adviser.

His appointment marks a significant milestone for the Society as we continue to strengthen our commitment to academic excellence, advocacy, and the holistic development of our members. We are confident that his guidance and mentorship will help shape the next generation of Bantugen advocates.

𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 | 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧

The Bantugen Debate and Moot Society successfully concluded the inaugural session of the Bantugen Lecture Series, featuring Atty. Josephine Bien Ku, Jr., who delivered an insightful lecture on Public International Law and the Psychology of Public Speaking.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Atty. Ku for sharing her time and expertise with our members. We also thank everyone who joined and actively participated in the discussion, making the inaugural session a meaningful exchange of ideas and learning.

As the first installment of this initiative, we look forward to bringing more sessions through the Bantugen Lecture Series, providing our members with continued opportunities to learn from legal practitioners and deepen their knowledge in various fields of law and advocacy.

The Bantugen Debate and Moot Society proudly presents a new installment, The Bantugen Lecture Series, featuring Atty. Josephine Bien Ku, Jr. as our distinguished lecturer.

This session will focus on Public International Law, providing members with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of one of the fundamental areas of legal study and advocacy.

Yesterday, the Bantugen Debate and Moot Society formally conducted the Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony of its newly elected officers for the Academic Year 2026–2027, signifying the official assumption of office and the beginning of a new term of leadership and service.

The ceremony was administered by Atty. Donna Ann T. Balboa, Vice Dean, who led the newly elected officers in taking their oath and formally inducted them into their respective positions within the Society.
