We had a meaningful meeting with QC Sports Development Office Head, Coach Jun Gayoso, to discuss how HTG Sports can help develop our youth through sports.

We shared our vision of raising the standard of Philippine grassroots sports by creating more opportunities for young athletes to compete, develop, and be recognized, while also encouraging the youth to rediscover their love for sports and stay physically active.

We truly appreciate Coach Jun Gayoso for welcoming our vision and extending his support to HTG Sports. His assistance gave us the opportunity to bring our plans and vision for young athletes to Vice Mayor Gian Sotto. We’re grateful for his support as we take this vision forward.

“Everybody was given a gift. Here, we honor it.”

The Story Behind HTG Sports
By Miggy Al-alawy, Founder

November 12, 2023.

I was simply a fan watching Russell Westbrook play on his 35th birthday.

I didn’t know then how much that moment would stay with me — or how much his belief in recognizing the gift in every person would influence what I would eventually build.

Today, as Russell announces his retirement, I find myself looking back at that day from a completely different place.

From watching the gift to building a stage for others to share theirs.

Because WHY NOT?

Thank you, Russ.
