PASIKLABAN 2026 — LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!

A courtesy call was made to Mayor Doc Marnie Maruya by Renand Troy Cobrador, a player and qualifier for the Palarong Pambansa 2026 to be held in Agusan del Sur.

He will compete in the 400m Run, 4x400 Relay, and 400m Hurdles, proudly representing Don Marcelino on the national stage.

The LGU of Don Marcelino, under the leadership of Mayor Doc Marnie Maruya, expresses its 100% full support for his journey. Good luck Troy and bring home the pride!

On behalf of our supportive Mayor, Doc Marnie Maruya - Mayor's Office snacks and mineral water were provided for our Don Marcelino delegates to keep them energized and ready for the big day. 🍔 Together with Lydo, Nico B. Sasuman, and the Municipal Sports Office, we personally delivered the allowances and snacks to our athletes. Now, they are ready for the Opening Parade.. energized, proud, and prepared to represent Don Marcelino and Davao Occidental with honor.

Third Runner Up at the DavOccPAA 2026

From the first whistle to the last lap, the Don Marcelino Stingers proved that determination and teamwork can make any community soar. Claiming 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗣𝗔𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁, the Stingers’ journey was a hive of effort, energy, and unrelenting spirit.

The competition was fierce, but the Stingers stood tall, also earning Second Runner Up at the Secondary Level and Third Runner Up at the Elementary Level, with a staggering 32 gold medals collected along the way. Each medal was a testament not just to speed and strength, but to the perseverance, focus, and heart of Don Marcelino’s young athletes.

This remarkable achievement was made possible through the support of 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘿𝙧. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙀𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙮𝙖, Local Government Officials and the 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣-𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙚, 𝙈𝙧. 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙅𝙧., whose leadership provided the foundation for success. Behind every victory were the coaches, teachers, parents, school personnel, and stakeholders who nurtured and guided the athletes.

Yet the true stars remained the student-athletes, whose energy, courage, and teamwork made the Stingers a force to be reckoned with—a hive buzzing with pride and glory.
