Remembering Faisal Khan
Today, on what would have been his 59th birthday, we remember Faisal and reflect on the memories he left with all of us.
Faisal was there from the early days of the Philippine Cricket Association, giving his time to help the sport grow. He cared deeply about cricket and about the people around him, and he was always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed. Many of us were fortunate to know him not just as someone who loved the game, but as a friend, a mentor, and a familiar face whose presence is still deeply missed.
It would be impossible to put into words everything Faisal meant to Philippine cricket. One moment that meant a great deal to those who knew him came in July 2022, when he received the International Cricket Council's Long Service Award- a fitting recognition of the many years he quietly devoted to the sport and the community he loved.
Those who knew him will remember not only his love for the game, but also his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. Though he is no longer with us, his presence is still felt in the Philippine Cricket Association and in the many lives he touched. His legacy lives on through the people and the sport he cared so deeply about.
Today, we remember him with gratitude and celebrate the life he lived and the people he touched.
Happy birthday, Faisal. Your memory lives on in our cricket family.

ACC Women's Premier Cup 2026 | Match 4
Philippines 🇵🇭 vs UAE 🇦🇪
The Philippine Blue Caps concluded their ACC Women's Premier Cup 2026 campaign with a tough challenge against an undefeated UAE side currently ranked No. 16 in the world.
While the result did not go our way, there is plenty to be proud of from this tournament. Across four matches, the Blue Caps scored an impressive 454 runs at an average of 113.5 runs per innings and claimed 22 wickets at an average of 5.5 wickets per innings- a reflection of the continued growth, development, and competitiveness of this team on the international stage.
These performances are another important step forward for Philippine cricket, with players continuing to gain valuable experience against some of Asia's strongest sides.
The tour is not over yet. The Blue Caps will now take on quality opposition from Malaysia in a series of additional matches, providing further opportunities to develop their skills, gain experience, and continue building towards the future.
The journey continues, and we thank everyone who has supported the Blue Caps as they continue to learn, grow, and represent the Philippines with pride 🇵🇭💙
