The Organizing Committee of the PJS White Lions Run 2026 has officially moved the event to October 18, 2026.

This decision was made after careful consultation with the seminary administration, alumni, and event partners, with one goal in mind:

𝐓𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.

Rather than simply holding a race, we want this event to become a celebration of faith, community, and support for future priests.

Every registered participant will get a chance to receive our exclusive commemorative keychain blessed in Rome, making this year's White Lions Run even more memorable.

The additional preparation time ensures that every runner receives this special keepsake as part of their race experience.

The new event date, October 18, 2026, coincides with the birthday of our Archbishop of Cebu.

This gives our gathering an even deeper meaning as we unite in prayer, thanksgiving, and support for priestly formation and vocations.

More than crossing a finish line, every participant will take part in a celebration that honors the enduring legacy of Pope Saint John XXIII while helping sustain the formation of future priests who will continue Christ's mission in our communities.

By running together during this special month, every step becomes an act of faith, every kilometer a sign of hope, and every registration a contribution to the future of the Church.

The event has also been realigned with the seminary calendar to better reflect the mission and rhythm of Pope John XXIII Seminary.

This allows the White Lions Run to become more than a fundraising activity—it becomes a genuine celebration of seminary life and the vocation to the priesthood.
