The day before Yesterday, history was made.

But last night, 𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐫.

The curtain has officially fallen on the 1st Santander Inter-High School Open Invitational Volleyball Tournament 2026 – Men's Category, and what an unforgettable ending it was.

Out of 18 highly competitive teams from different parts of Cebu and Negros, only four remained standing when the dust settled.

Every team fought with heart. Every set felt like a championship match. Every point was earned.

And after a day of intense battles, the final results are:

🥉 2nd Placer – DEIWOS, Dumaguete City
🏅 3rd Placer – BAVA, Barili Volleyball Association

A few months ago, this tournament existed only as an idea.

An idea that Santander could host a volleyball event that would bring together student-athletes from different cities, municipalities, schools, and volleyball programs. An idea that young athletes deserved a stage where they could showcase their talent, passion, and hard work.

Today, that idea became reality.

The 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 has officially concluded, and what a memorable journey it has been.
