Today, we celebrate the 211th birthday of our dear Father and Founder, Saint John Bosco! We pray that under his guidance and teachings, we may attain our shared goals for DBTC as we continue this journey.

Giovanni Melchior Bosco was born on August 16, 1815, to Francis Bosco and Mama Margaret. He founded the Salesian Society, which is now present in more than 130 countries across the globe.

Let us celebrate this day and give thanks to the Lord for the great gift of Saint John Bosco.

DBTC-Cebu celebrates with joy and thanks the Lord for the gift of life He bestowed on Rev. Fr. Rooney John G. Undar, SDB, who celebrates his birthday today.

Fr. Rooney is the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and concurrently serving as both BED Principal and College Dean. He is also the FIS Delegate for the Commission on Youth Ministry.

| SUSPENSION OF CLASSES
As of 11:00 am, July 9, 2026.

In compliance with the advisory of the Cebu City Government regarding the volcanic ashfall caused by the eruption of Kanlaon Volcano, classes at all levels will be dismissed at 11:40 AM today, 9 July 2026.

All sports activities, practices, trainings, and other extracurricular activities scheduled for today are hereby suspended until further notice. Further updates will be communicated through the official DBTC-Cebu communication channels.

Stay safe, Bosconians.

This is for all the pabaon and the laundry, the early morning rides, and the endless "Kape, Kwento, Kilig" on the bleachers.

We see the expectation vs. reality. The budget (UBOS!), the stress level (1000%), the early mornings and the sweat. But when we look at our kids giving their all on that court, all those sacrifices just seem to melt away.

Every game day is a roller coaster, but seeing them grow, build teamwork and chase their dreams makes every pagod worth it. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Another valuable day of learning, growth, and competition for our DBTC Greywolves!

Our 12U, 15U, and Juniors teams successfully completed yesterday's tune-up games as part of their preparation for the upcoming season. Every possession, every challenge, and every game is an opportunity to improve and become better student-athletes.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to Carcar Army and SRDC for the competitive games and sportsmanship shown throughout the day. Special congratulations as well to SRDC on becoming one of the newest member schools of CESAFI.

The work continues. The learning continues. The journey continues.
