𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀

Calamba City Science Integrated School athletes bagged numerous awards in various sporting events in the recently concluded Calamba Athletic Meets 2024, which includes Cluster Meet in October, Inter-Cluster Meet in November, and Division Meet in December.

CCSIS first dominated the Cluster 2 Athletic Meet, tallying nine championships, which secured their ticket to the Inter-Cluster Meet, where they represented Cluster 2.

After a dazzling Cluster Meet stint, Calscians earned multiple podium finishes including two championships in the Inter-Cluster Meet of Clusters 1-5.

The multi-awarded Calscian aquabelle Kassandra Kiersten Macaraig captures Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) spot after seizing four golds and one silver in the Division Meet in different swimming events, while Calscian netter Khaillie Tabernilla fell short after finishing silver in Badminton Girls.

Calscian student-athletes proved their unwavering enthusiasm for sports and strong will to win, which ultimately propelled them to achieve remarkable feats in various sporting events.

Nagpakitang-gilas ang Green Archers matapos selyuhan ng mga ito ang dalawang gintong medalya sa Junior-Girls’ 3x3 at Senior - Boys’ 5x5 Basketball sa OlympCCSIS 2024 na ginanap sa Calamba City Science Integrated School Quadrangle nitong Setyembre.

Naunang sinungkit ng Archers ang kanilang unang ginto sa Junior Girls’ 3x3 Basketball matapos ang complete domination ng mga ito sa iskor na 8-0 kontra sa Red Warriors na nakasungkit ng pangalawang pwesto habang Blue Eagles ang nagkamit ng pangatlong pwesto at Yellow Tigers sa pang-apat.

Kumana rin ng ginto ang Green Archers para sa Senior Boys’ 5x5 nang magtala ng 34-22 kontra sa silver medalists na Yellow Tigers habang pumangatlo naman ang Blue Eagles kontra sa fourth placers na Red Warriors.

Nabigo namang masungkit ng Archers ang kampeonato sa Senior Girls’ 3x3 nang kapusin ang mga ito sa tinanghal na gold medalists na Red Warriors sa 3-1 kartada habang Blue Eagles ang sinabitan ng tansong medalya at Yellow Tigers naman sa huling pwesto.

Nagwagi naman ng ginto sa Junior Boys’ 5x5 ang Grade 10 Team na Blue Eagles kontra sa rookie team na Yellow Tigers na binubuo ng Grade 7 students sa tala na 38-8, habang Green Archers naman ang humawak ng tansong medalya at pang-huli naman ang Red Warriors.

𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗝𝗛𝗦; 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹

The Green Archers claimed the top seed in the Juniors’ Division after securing first place in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories, accumulating a total of 40 points; meanwhile, the Tigers and Archers forced a two-way tie with a total of 35 points each in the Seniors’ Division during OlympCCSIS, held at the quadrangle on September 28.

Both the students in yellow and in green achieved a one-two finish in the Seniors’ Division by placing first in Boys’ and Girls’, respectively, and second in the opposite category.

Despite their strong showing in the Seniors’ Division, the Junior Tigers, on the other hand, finished last in both categories.

Moreover, the Red Warriors concluded the tournament with a double-second place finish in the Juniors’ Division and a double-third place finish in the Seniors’ Division.

The Blue Eagles secured third place in both categories of the Juniors’ Division and finished last in both categories of the Seniors’ Division.
