Huge rounds of applause for our Xavier Ateneo Crusaders U16 Girls Football Team for securing the 1st Runner Up spot at the recent El Grego Football Cup held last March 23-24!

The future of CDO football is bright as three teams represent the city in the Season 4 International Football League Youth Edition, taking place on May 30–31, 2026, at Verso International School in Bangkok, Thailand — where young players showcase their skills, passion, and sportsmanship on a competitive international stage.

Competing from CDO are Xavier Ateneo Crusaders Corpus Christi Knights Fc and Magis Football Academy

The teams are currently in PIYA Football Academy in Ratchaburi, Thailand for a rigorous five-day training camp (May 25–29).

CCS Knights FC Head to Bangkok
The Corpus Christi Knights Fc have flown to Bangkok, Thailand, to represent Cagayan de Oro and the Philippines in the International Football League (IFL) Youth Edition – Season 4 on May 30–31, 2026. Led by Team Manager Arch. Luisito Maagad and coaches Amor Jun Tapion and James Pangasian, the young delegation is competing across four categories.

Before the competition kicks off, the team will join the 5-day intensive preparatory training camp at the Bangkok Thonburi University Sports Complex with PIYA Football Academy and the International Football League from May 25–29, 2026.

The Northern Mindanao delegation (X-NMRAA) NorMin Star proudly represents the region in the ongoing 66th Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur! Our young football warriors from Rosevale School Elementary Football Team Rosevale Football is competing on the national stage, headed by Coach Dennis P. Bongocan and fueled by the heart of NorMin.

In their opening match, Region X battled Region VI to a 1-1 draw in the 8v8 format.

Up next, they face the host team Region XIII (CARAGA), today, May 26, 2026!

Officially themed "Palaro Tu Agsur 2026," The 66th Palarong Pambansa is taking place in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, running from May 24 to May 31, 2026. Hosted at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Gov. D.O. Plaza Sports Complex, the national multi-sport event brings together roughly 13,000 elementary and secondary student-athletes from 18 regional delegations across the country.

Cagayan de Oro City is sending its finest young footballers to the international stage! Players from Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan will represent both the Philippines and CDO at the International Football League (IFL) Youth Edition Season 4, set on May 30–31, 2026 at VERSO International School in Bangkok, Thailand.

The team is lead by coaches Niño Lazo and Howard Ray Restificar.
