Provincial Sports Development Office - Misamis Oriental

The Provincial Sports Development Office (PSDO) conducted a site visit at the Sports Center to inspect and evaluate the proposed area for the development of basketball and volleyball facilities.

The inspection was conducted by the Provincial Sports Coordinator Rosuetta Colastre together with Former Claveria Mayor Coach Rocky Calingin, Architect Placid Pongasi and Engr. Cate Pongasi of the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) to assess the site’s suitability, available space, and overall feasibility for the planned sports infrastructure.

This initiative reflects the Province of Misamis Oriental’s continued commitment to enhancing sports facilities and creating quality venues that will support athlete development and promote active community participation in sports.

Provincial Sports Development Office Conducts Screening for Pickleball and Lawn Tennis Tournament

The Provincial Sports Development Office (PSDO) successfully conducted a screening at the Sports Center for Provincial Capitol employees who will participate in the upcoming Pickleball and Lawn Tennis Tournament for Beginners and Novice players.

The activity aims to identify and prepare participants for the tournament, which will be held on June 19, 2026, at Unity Court as part of the Pride Month Celebration. The event promotes sports participation, camaraderie, wellness, and inclusivity among Capitol employees through friendly competition and active engagement in sports. 🏓🎾🏳️‍🌈 #
