📍 We are looking for photographers who can:

✅Cover runners during the actual route / road action
✅Provide enhanced copies of all event photos taken
✅Submit all captured photos to the RUNPO team
✅Do not sell photos individually to runners

RUNPO CDO 2026: Bayaning Puyat is inviting individuals from different running clubs and running communities to be part of our official RUNPO Pacer Team for the following categories:

🏃 3K Pacers
🏃 5K Pacers
🏃 10K Pacers

We are looking for runners who can help guide, motivate, and support our participants throughout the race — especially first-time runners, fun runners, and those who want to finish strong with confidence.

As a RUNPO Pacer, you will help represent the spirit of the event: community, discipline, encouragement, and running as one.

Selected pacers will receive:
✅ Pacer fee/honorarium
✅ Official race perks
✅ Event recognition
✅ Opportunity to represent your running club/community
✅ Chance to help runners finish strong

Ten years ago, our Race Director took his first step into race directing through the **Boystown Run of the CSWD–Cagayan de Oro City LGU**—a meaningful community event organized for the benefit of the residents of Boystown, a residential care facility managed by the local government. It provides alternative parental care, protection, and rehabilitation for abandoned, neglected, or abused male minors and children in need of special support.

What started as a single race driven by service and a desire to create a safe and memorable running experience eventually became the beginning of a much bigger journey.

Over the years, every starting line became a classroom. Every route taught new lessons in safety, logistics, traffic management, timing, coordination, and dealing with thousands of runners. From setting up cones before sunrise, coordinating with marshals and authorities, managing race-day challenges, to finally seeing participants cross the finish line—each event helped shape the experience and discipline behind the race director.

A decade later, that passion has evolved into what is now **Cones & Timer**.

From that first Boystown Run, Cones & Timer has grown into a full-service race and event organizing team, having handled **almost 50 races across Cagayan de Oro City, Bukidnon, and Misamis Oriental**. These include community fun runs, school and university races, corporate events, advocacy runs, competitive road races, and large-scale running events involving hundreds and even thousands of participants.

But the journey has always been about more than counting races.

It is about the people behind every event. The runners who wake up before dawn. The volunteers and marshals who stand along the route. The sponsors and partners who believe in every project. The LGUs, traffic personnel, police, emergency responders, event crews, suppliers, and countless individuals who work together to make every starting line possible.

**Ten years. Almost 50 races. Thousands of runners. Countless kilometers. One continuing journey.**

From a humble advocacy run for the residents of Boystown to becoming **Cones & Timer**, the mission remains the same: to organize races that are safe, professionally managed, memorable, and meaningful.

And as we celebrate a decade of race directing, we look back with gratitude—but we also look forward with excitement.

**Because after 10 years, we are still learning, still improving, still running—and there are many more starting lines ahead.**
