JKA NKK Philippines Inc. Cagayan de Oro - COC

The delegates of JKA NKK Philippines Inc. Cagayan de Oro-COC in the recently concluded XI Iwabuchi Cup paid a courtesy call to the Dean of PHINMA Cagayan de Oro College - School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, LTC Gerry J. Caño (RES) PA, PhD.

The PHINMA-Cagayan de Oro College - School of Criminology and Criminal Justice is the largest criminology institution in terms of students enrolled in Northern Mindanao and one of the only 2 criminology institutions in Mindanao which is designated by the Commission on Higher Education as a Center of Excellence in Criminology Education. The institution has been named and maintained as one of the Top Performing Schools in the Criminology Licensure Examination in the last 5 years.

As a student athlete, winning moments are priceless, especially after collecting yourselves and learning from a defeat. This year, JKA CDO-COC drove to the SHOTOCON 2026 with grit, determination, and passion. JKA NKKPI's SHOTOCON 2026 consists of 3 MAJOR EVENTS headed and organized by JKA - The Japan Karate Association, Philippines:
(1) Gasshuku with Ryosuke Shimizu & Satomi Okuie, 6th Dan Instructors at the Japan Karate Association World Federation Headquarters, Tokyo Japan;
(2) Qualification/International Certification & Dan Examination;
(3) Iwabuchi XI International Traditional-Rules Tournament

JKA CDO-COC participated, won games, and learned & acquired important updates from the SHOTOCON 2026.
