Beginner's Luck Ultimate - BLU

Years ago, we were chasing a disc across fields and skipping classes for tournaments. 🥏

Fast forward to today, life looks a little different—careers, businesses, families, responsibilities, and all the things that come with growing up. As adulthood took us in different directions, we naturally saw less of each other. But somehow, despite the demands and busy schedules, we found our way to reconnect and pick up right where we left off.

This time, on a pickleball court. 🏓

What started as a group of college friends who shared a love for Ultimate Frisbee has grown into something even bigger. Along the way, our circle expanded, welcomed new faces, and built new friendships.

Our 1st Intraclub Tournament was more than just a competition. It was a reminder of how special it is to reconnect with people who have shared different chapters of your life and to create new memories with those who have become part of the journey.

Looking around the court, I couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful that after all these years, we still make time for each other. Grateful for the friendships that have lasted. Grateful for the new people who have become part of our growing pickleball family.

And if there's one thing this tournament confirmed, it's that no matter where life takes us, we're still as competitive as ever. 😂

It’s been a week since the Higalaay Ultimate Tournament 2025, and what a weekend it was! That’s a wrap!

A very special shoutout to Vice Mayor Bebot Rodriguez for the unwavering assistance and support, and for officially adding the Higalaay Ultimate Tournament to the Higalaay Festival calendar. Thank you for supporting the growth of our sport!
