April Joy Anacaya-Montillano is a self-taught and certified artist, painting mentor, and the founder of Brush & Bloom PH, a creative art hub that provides online and face-to-face painting classes, school enrichment programs, art camps, workshops, and creative learning experiences for children, youth, and adults.

She holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education and has experience in teaching, creative facilitation, and conducting art activities in various settings, including homes, barangays, cafés, malls, and schools through school enrichment programs and other community-based activities. She also conducts online art classes, allowing learners from different locations to explore and develop their artistic skills.

April has also served as a workshop resource speaker for DSWD Region X and has participated in art exhibitions, including Art for Everyone 2025 and 2026 at SM CDO Downtown.

Through Brush & Bloom PH, April aims to make art more accessible and meaningful by helping learners develop their creativity, confidence, self-expression, and appreciation for their God-given talents.

As an artist, educator, and entrepreneur, she believes that creativity is not only about creating beautiful things, it is also a way to express oneself, discover one’s potential, build confidence, and inspire others.
