At 7, Aielle Aguilar once again cemented a milestone to her growing recognition in the global stage – striking a gold in the Pan Kids IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship, the world’s biggest jiujitsu tournament for kids.

The three-time world jiujitsu champ outlasted Lyla Rose Warren in the final round of the P*e Wee 2 Grey for fighters weighing 46.60 lbs.

“My birthday wish last year was to compete at IBJJF Pan Kids someday and it came true! I thank God and my family for getting me here and all my teammates turned [into a] family who helped me prepare to get to where I am now. Best day ever,” Aielle said on her social media account.

Prior to the championship match, she outlasted Trinity Grace Thome in the quarterfinal round to set up a semis clash against Maite Almeida De Oliveira who eventually drew a bye.
