Eastern Samar Basketball & Volleyball League

𝑪𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓!🤸

The provincial government of Eastern Samar is looking for athletes to represent our province at the Batang Pinoy 2026 National Championships on December 12-18, 2026, in Bacolod City.

To qualify, you must be eight to 15 years old and a bonafide resident of Eastern Samar. Those studying or not who meet the criteria are also eligible to join.

Interested athletes may join in various individual and team sports.

To apply, simply pre-register online through the Google form/QR code below — no walk-ins will be accepted.

Pre-registration is open until September 3, 2026.

Registered athletes will be evaluated, and only those who meet the standards will be invited to the qualifying games/tryouts.

Make sure to prepare a few basic requirements such as your PSA Birth Certificate, recent ID photos taken within the last two months, a medical certificate, and parent or guardian consent (along with any other documents your LGU may require).

​Champion: ₱150,000.00
​1st Runner-Up: ₱100,000.00
​2nd Runner-Up: ₱50,000.00
​3rd Runner-Up: ₱20,000.00

​Volleyball (Boys & Girls)
​Champion: ₱100,000.00
​1st Runner-Up: ₱75,000.00
​2nd Runner-Up: ₱50,000.00
​3rd Runner-Up: ₱10,000.00

MVP: ₱10,000.00 (each)
Mythical Five and
Special Awards:₱3,000.00 (each)

​Consolation Prizes ( Non-Advancers)
A total of ₱30,000.00 in consolation prizes will be distributed as follows:
​Basketball: ₱10,000.00
​Volleyball (Boys): ₱10,000.00
​Volleyball (Girls): ₱10,000.00

​Note on Consolation Prizes: These prizes are strictly intended for the teams (players and coaches). They have been—or will be—received by your SK Federation President or an authorized coach.

​Team Subsidy
​A ₱100,000.00 subsidy was given to all participating teams at the start of the tournament.

In support also of the provincial government's sports initiative, Congressman Sheen P. Gonzales and Congressman Nonoy Libanan have generously pledged an additional cash prize of ₱50,000.00 for each of the champion teams in Basketball, Boys' Volleyball, and Girls' Volleyball.

CHAMP UPDATE: Team Abtik Sulat takes Game 1 of the ESBVL Season 6 Volleyball Boys Championship and now leads the Best-of-3 Finals series, 1-0.

Sulat moves one win away from securing the championship title as the series heads into its next game.
