DepEd - City Of Balanga National High School Junior High School (COBNHS-JHS) Grade 10 student-athlete Russly Manuel made his mark on the international stage as Siklab Pilipinas secured 3rd place in the International Youth Basketball Championship (IYBC) 2026 16U Division – Diamond League, held from July 24 to 28 at Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok, Thailand.

Competing against elite youth clubs from across 14 participating countries and territories, the national contingent demonstrated impressive skill and grit throughout the five-day global tournament. Manuel contributed to the team's competitive run in the high-tier Diamond League against top international competition.

The entire COBNHS-JHS community congratulates Russly Manuel and Siklab Pilipinas for their outstanding performance on the international stage. Manuel's dedication and athletic excellence bring great pride to Balanga City and serve as an inspiration to the character and capability of young Filipino athletes.
