⚠️ LTO BCDO ADVISORY | BEWARE OF NCAP SCAMS

The Land Transportation Office – Bacolod City District Office reminds the public to be vigilant against fake NCAP/traffic violation messages and phishing scams.

📱 DO NOT TRUST TEXT MESSAGES OR MESSAGES FROM UNKNOWN SOURCES claiming that you have an unsettled traffic violation and directing you to click a link or make an immediate payment.

🚫 DO NOT CLICK suspicious links.
🚫 DO NOT enter your plate number or personal information on unfamiliar websites.
🚫 DO NOT provide your bank, credit card, GCash, e-wallet, OTP, or other financial information.
🚫 DO NOT make payments through links or QR codes sent through unsolicited messages.

The LTO has previously warned that scammers impersonate the agency by sending fake traffic violation notifications containing links to bogus LTO/LTMS websites designed to obtain personal and financial information. (LTO⁠)

Remember: When in doubt, verify first. Get information only from official LTO channels and do not immediately act on threatening or urgent messages.

If you receive a suspicious message, do not click the link and do not provide any information.
