Today, Raven gratefully exit his run for Gentry Open 2026 -Junior 12&Under Category. He fell short against his kuya Raven Licayan with 6-1, 6-3 score in the Semi Final round.

Still a strong finish for us, and a great experience for Raven being exposed and compete against the top players in 12&Under Category at the age of 8.

To Raven good job and we are incredibly proud of you! We will come back stronger! Cherish all the learnings you have gained from this tournament and let's continue to work hard towards your dream 💪

P.S your genuine and innocent smile is a strong proof that you did enjoy and love what you are doing. 🫡

Just like last year when you join GENTRY 2025 we are not expecting much, we told you to just do your best and enjoy every game. But of course you did not just perform, you dominated and take home the Championship for 10&Under Unisex Category.

This year since 10&Under is no longer included, we need to step up and take the challenge to join in 12&Under Category. But then again, no expectation. We always remind you na lumaban lang, showcase your talent and enjoy every bits of it. Huwag matakot pumalo at lalong huwag matakot matalo- as we believe learning will come from both ends (winning and losing).

We know the game is not yet over, but reaching Semi Final is already an achievement for us! Hanga kami sa tibay at lakas ng loob mo. For a 8 year old boy enduring the pressure and fighting for your dream is truly admirable!

We are so proud of you! So tomorrow when you step in the court, just do your game, believe in yourself and enjoy the moment.
