It looks like another wet and unsettled week ahead at Valley Golf, with rain expected throughout the week and the possibility of thunderstorms on several days.

From Monday to Friday, daytime temperatures will range from 30°C to 33°C, with rain chances as high as 94% early in the week. Conditions are also expected to be breezy, with winds of around 22–26 km/h.

If you’re planning a round this week, please come prepared:

☔ Bring your brollies! Showers and periods of rain are expected throughout the week, with particularly wet conditions forecast for Monday and Tuesday.

⛈️ Stay weather aware. Thunderstorms may develop quickly, especially during the afternoons. Please never take chances where lightning is concerned.

⚡ Play may be suspended if lightning is detected in the area. Please follow all instructions from our Golf Operations Team and Marshals and move to a safe location when directed.

💧 Even with the wet weather, remember to stay well hydrated throughout your round.

🌧️ With continued rainfall, course and cart conditions may change at short notice. Any operational updates will be communicated by our Golf Operations Team.

A new month is here, bringing fresh opportunities to enjoy the game we all love.

Our August 2026 Calendar is now available, highlighting public holidays, scheduled course maintenance days, and key operating dates to help you plan your visits to Valley Golf & Country Club.

As we continue through the rainy season, course conditions may change from day to day depending on the weather. We appreciate your patience and cooperation by following all course signage, golf cart regulations, and any temporary course restrictions that may be in place. These measures help us protect the course and ensure the best possible playing conditions for everyone.

🏆 Valley Golf & Country Club Receives the 2026 Prestige Golf Award – Elite Caddie Excellence 🏆

Today, Valley Golf & Country Club was honoured to officially receive the 2026 Prestige Golf Award – Elite Caddie Excellence, presented by Prestige Golf Access & Clubshares Inc.

The award was accepted on behalf of the Club by President Atty. Rio Venturanza and General Manager Andrew Matthews, together with representatives from our Golf Operations team, caddie officers, and caddies.

As part of the presentation, Prestige Golf Access & Clubshares Inc. also generously donated ₱25,000 to the Valley Caddies Fund, further supporting the welfare and development of our caddies.

This recognition belongs to every one of our caddies. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to delivering exceptional service are an important part of the Valley experience and are greatly appreciated by our members and guests.

We sincerely thank Prestige Golf Access & Clubshares Inc. for this honour and for their generous support. We also thank our members for their continued trust and encouragement.

While we are proud to receive this award, we know that excellence is a journey. We remain committed to working with our caddies to continually improve and deliver the highest standards of service.

The week ahead will remain warm, humid, and unsettled, with daytime temperatures holding around 33°C. Expect cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms throughout the week, particularly during the afternoons, so please plan your round accordingly.

If you’re playing this week, we recommend:

💧 Stay well hydrated before, during, and after your game, with RealFeel temperatures expected to reach 40–41°C.

🧴 Protect yourself from the sun. UV levels will range from Moderate to Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, so sunscreen (SPF 30+), a hat, and sunglasses are recommended.

🧢 Wear light, breathable clothing and take advantage of shaded areas whenever possible.

If you’re planning a round this week, we recommend:

💧 Stay well hydrated before, during, and after your game, as RealFeel temperatures are expected to reach up to 44°C.

🧴 Protect yourself from the sun. UV levels are forecast to be Unhealthy to Very Unhealthy on several days, so sunscreen (SPF 30+), a hat, and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

If you’re planning a round, we recommend:

💧 Stay well hydrated before, during, and after your game.

🧴 While UV levels are expected to remain Moderate, sunscreen is still recommended, especially during brighter periods.

🧢 Wear a hat, sunglasses, and light, breathable clothing for comfort on the course.
