Beach Boys RLFC are back for the Kairuku Leg in Hisiu ❗️❗️

Beach Boys RLFC have been playing under the BEWAIKI region in the Kairuku Area for years till they Joined the HSN Arena in Bereina in 2025.

The 2024 and 2025 BEWAIKI Champions are back to compete with the best in the HSN Kairuku Leg in Hisiu Village.

Beach Boys are Team that plays with heart no matter what,in the Kuni Leg they got knocked in the Quarter finals in the final Minute against Doa Rubber Roots 13 - 12.

They came back in the Mekeo leg but this time they didn’t get pass the normal rounds.The disappointing performance in the Mekeo leg made the boys start Preparations early. We don’t want to be a numbers team but to be looked at as a contender too like the big name teams in the HSN circuit. (said Captain Mathew Arabu)

In the Kairuku Leg we will be bringing a development team too, because like all the other teams we need to start building the future. We are looking forward to the Kairuku Leg and we want to see the 5th day. (said Captain Mathew Arabu).

With the leadership of Kevin Ume The Beach boys RLFC has been a consistent team attending the HSN tournaments and we are thankful and Grateful for the boys Waima for the continues support in developing their youths through Rugby League.

Though we didn't make it through to the Top 16, this tournament gave us plenty to build on.

Picture inserted Below👇are our MVPs who stood out throughout the 1 week tournament of the 2026 HSN Mekeo Leg at Eboa. Their effort, consistency, and commitment were outstanding from start to finish.

That said, every player who wore the Beach Boys RLFC jersey gave their all. We played with heart, but a number of costly errors at crucial moments proved to be the difference in our games.

We're not dwelling on the disappointment. We'll learn from our mistakes, regroup as a team, and come back stronger.

Our focus now shifts to the HSN Kairuku Rural Leg at Hisiu, where we'll be ready to put those lessons into action.
