It was a privilege for our City Strikers FC U19 Men’s Team to have a quality hit-out against the PNG U16 Men’s National Team as they continue their preparations.

These opportunities are invaluable for the development of our young players, providing them with the chance to test themselves against the nation’s best emerging talent while supporting the growth of football in Papua New Guinea.

A sincere thank you to the Papua New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) and the Port Moresby Soccer Association (PMSA) for making this experience possible. We are proud to play our part in supporting our national teams.

Round 1 comes to a close with a hard-fought draw against PSL newcomers Finschhafen Bavarians FC.

The boys showed great commitment and determination throughout the first round, and now take a well-earned one-week break before regrouping and preparing for the challenges of Round 2.
