Douglas David spoke about the recent victory over the Western Clydesdales, saying it felt great to finally get a win after a tough run of losses — especially in front of the home crowd and the club’s old boys and pioneers who helped build the Hunters legacy.
With Sanny Wabo sidelined, Douglas knows he has big shoes to fill.
“Sanny has that X-factor about him. Everyone knows what he can do with the ball. I’m ready to take on the challenge, do my job on the field and bring my own style into the team as well.”

Coach Enock Maki was pleased with the team’s performance against the Western Clydesdales, with the win providing a much-needed boost heading into the final two games of the season.
The victory has lifted the group’s confidence and motivation, with the Hunters now focused on finishing the season on a high and going after back-to-back wins to close out the campaign.
Coach Maki also revealed that a player who has been eagerly awaiting his opportunity is finally set to get his chance to make his debut this season. 👀🔥
