A new extended journey sends athletes racing through the heart of Muscat, past Al Alam Palace, across the Bustan Hills, alongside the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and out towards Barka before the charge back to the capital. Palaces. Mountains. Coastlines. National landmarks. Open roads.

This isn’t a course you simply ride.
It’s 180KM of Oman unfolding at full speed. 🇴🇲

Experience Oman 🇴🇲 اكتشف عُمان IRONMAN Oman begins with 3.8KM through the waters of Muscat, where the first light of race morning meets one of the city’s most striking coastlines.

A single-loop swim takes athletes into the open water with Al Fahal Island on the horizon and Muscat as the backdrop before bringing them back to shore and into the next chapter of their journey.

Today, we officially introduced the first-ever Experience Oman 🇴🇲 اكتشف عُمان IRONMAN 70.3 Dhofar presented by Hawana Salalah Middle East Relay Championship, setting the stage for teams from across the region to take on one of the world’s most iconic challenge together.

The press conference was attended by key partners and stakeholders including statements from our title Partner- Experience Oman 🇴🇲 اكتشف عُمان Mr Haitham Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Promotion, وزارة التراث والسياحة - سلطنة عُمان & Mr Talal Al Khusaibi, Director General of heritage & tourism, Dhofar Governorate. Followed by a detailed discussion of the relay championship categories by Race organisers- Mr Mohammed Al Obaidani, CEO & Founder of MGE Group and presented by partner- Mr Hafidh Al Hadhrami, destination director also highlighted the 5th year of partnership between Hawana Salalah and IRONMAN 70.3 Dhofar 2026.

This October, history will be written in Dhofar.🏆📣
