Ruakaka Recreation Centre is a community facility for sports and recreation activities.

Our Centre has a Unisex gym and a separate Ladies gym both of which have 24/7 access. Casual users can access the gym for $2 on Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm, Thursdays from 8am to 6pm. Other activities include Light Circuit Fitness class, Yoga, Stretching, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Make a Scene drama classes, for small children Music & Play, Karate and Indoor Bowls. Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga is coming to Ruakākā Recreation Centre! 🤍

Whether you're preparing for birth or easing back into movement after welcoming your little one, these gentle, supportive classes are designed to help you feel stronger, calmer and more connected.

📅 Fridays at 6:00pm (prenatal and postnatal classes alternate fortnightly)

Aerial hoop is a fun aerial fitness activity performed on a suspended steel hoop. In this supportive beginner-friendly class, you'll learn simple poses, transitions and sequences while building strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence.
