BENNY the Palomino stallion is Powerballs dad.

So This show was just about canned for us but So glad to have had a chance to get our horses and Antoni Braedon Antunovich away for the weekend l so needed the break. Leaving the 2 other teenage boys and vets in charge of Powerball for 3 days was incredibly hard. So slapped some makeup on, pearls on, fancy clothes on, pulled myself together after not sleeping for 10 days and got on with the job of showing and being a winner. And what a weekend we had, laughs, giggles, drinks, Supremes, fun, pizza, amazing friends, my son, my groom and my team of 5. So proud of Big Benny stallion winning Supreme Cat A for the second time and Dreamy stallion 3 years in a row Supreme Cat B what wins these boys took. Some tough competition in classes, just Absolutely incredible, absolutely thrilled, absolutely so proud. And Brandi little old Brandi my sweetest darling tiny cat A girl two years in a row Supreme Cat A performance horse and Jordan Harris Memorial winner, what a super proud owner to win this incredible memorial with Brandi in Jordans name, hope we made you super proud 😘 just an amazing weekend getaway with such awesome people, love you all, NMHSNZ you rocked it, congratulations to you as an association

What a weekend away, we had an absolute blast as always with an incredible group of people & friends, the biggest thanks to NMHSNZ for all the hard work and dedication to your club and shows. Your all just incredible a massive thank you. To Antoni for being my buddy, son, photographer and laughter you bring to my days. Dani Macdonald for being our groom, and showing the stunning Gabby and talented Brandi, you are amazing what you helped to do, washing them, grooming them, showing them, lol even let you loose with the scissors on Ben, you were incredible Miss groom extrodinaire. And of course to the sponsors we are so appreciative of what is gifted and sponsored, absolutely a massive thank you. Malinda Armstrong for your amazing sponsorship in Jordans name we are so proud to have won such a precious award from your family to the club. Always an outstanding show, thank you to the ring stewards and judges such a hard competition. We couldn't have missed this show and glad we were able to attend to enjoy the amazing company and club members/commitee with their dedication to their competors another year running with the most devine rosettes and sashes EVER. Hats off to your commitee, we will be back as always next year for another round of laughs. Powerball Update: Wednesday last week was not a good day for him or me, laying in the float next to him, me crying that we needed to let him go, with a fever, joint ill and both eyes half filled with pus we were starting on the slippery downhill slope of going to sleep that morning. So We did bloods and my vet came out saying "Well today is Not the day he's going to Die" above us in the sunny sky a huge black thunder cloud had appeared above the clinic and then it erupted with the biggest loudest thunder roar right above us in the sunny sky, it was absolutely strangely crazy. The heavens above agreed we needed to keep trying. We decided to keep going with gent 36hrly and a heavier dose ontop of penicillin twice daily and 3 other sets of meds as in himself he seemed pretty happy. The vets had been in touch with numerous other professionals nationwide to get the top advise going forward on quantities we could administer to such a little boy without doing kidney damage etc. So more vet visits, more vets at home, more meds, more gent into his jugular and we seem to be back up winning the battle going forward. I had a show organised and needed to get the hell out of dodge for a break from not sleeping for two weeks. The vets incredibly trained and gave the boys lessons on doing injections, we shaved his little butt to make it easier and how to do all his meds twice a day, which l knew then l could do no more than them. Appointments made for vets to be at the house afterhours and the boys to take him for gent to the clinic it was all set. And yesterday he is looking amazing happy and bubbly, eyes less yellow, eating poo woohoo, feeding well, no dehydration, formed poos, happy and bright, no temp, and still fighting an infection though so we are still keeping gent going, his kidneys are functioning fine no damage. It's definitely been and is an emotional roller coaster ride daily, lve left the boys in charge of injections as they are doing an amazing job, so blessed to have such incredible kids that came to the party when l said "lm out of here l need to go away to sort my emotions and head from it all for three days away. So happy that he seems to be getting stronger and more like a normal foal due to have been born tomorrow. Biggest thanks to my vets and my boys for being left in charge of a very very precious little foal who got 24hr care with them. Aidan Antunovich Andre Antunovich your just amazing, caring and incredible young men. Blessed to have such good teenage boys to help me through this, couldn't have done it without them and my caring, compassionate, dedicated vets on call for him.

Important MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM AT BRSS, we are so sorry that orders have been delayed as life got ever so slightly insane here at the farm over the last three weeks so please accept our apologies for them only being sent today. 💋

Happy New Year everyone, to my customers, family, friends and especially my vets. As we enter the Year of the Horse it's all been about this little Guy my friend has named Powerball. Our little Powerball foal whom has been knocking at heavens doors to many times from the red bag, a massive possible inutero infection, and then colic, he is having 24hr around the clock care, sleeping in the stable with my pillow and duvet. Three days have seemed like 3months with zero sleep fighting a battle to keep him alive. Three times the call was to not keep going, but a battle is being fought, my English background makes me keep going determined to win against the odds that stack up. We have done everything everyday to keep him here with us, nothing spared, a foal l bred so l am his protector of his life l made. Crashing at 6hrs old, we threw everything at him, bloods, IV fluids, ultrasound, fluenixen, more antibiotics, gentimisen, Calefur, with a massive infection, then came diarrhoea, new antibiotics, biosponge, more fluids, penicillin and more gent and pus half filled his eyes, joint ill you name it we have been threw it and are doing it, nothing spared. An insane dash to find and secure 1tr of gold Plasma as well in the holiday season wasn't easy at all. Mad dash to Akld to get it back up here via different drivers, Antoni Braedon Antunovich, Aidan Antunovich Andre Antunovich to get it to us here with the vets waiting for the delivery. It's definitely been a mammoth few days, so many people involved to keep this little guy alive. Today we hope and pray he turns the corner on that path to the pearly white gates to stay with me and his mum Fancy, the battle not over far from over. But my loyalty to him stands sted fast against the odds. A battle l have chosen to take. Not all would have, not all would agree but l know l have tried with all my heart, courage and emotion to keep him here to treasure in the future. A foal l bred, a foal l made, a foal l cherish and need to protect from death if possible.

If l havnt replyed to messages or even seen them please forgive my lack of time. My world has been focused on him only and will remain so as the days go by. Blessed am l to have even had the chance to help to this extent. Massive thanks to my vets for their on going time, care and putting him first every hour of my days. Pray for us going forward & keep that angel of death from my door, l stand in my armor at the gates to my castle with all l have as death you are not welcome here, l will know when he can't do it anymore or l and it's not today, l will be the one to decide if this is his time.

We are back up and running and getting orders going again, and today l am able to breathe alittle vet just left with more bloods to run and the little guy seems to be doing OK today, so please please get those orders in to us as we have an astronomical vet bill, so all your orders help, it's definitely been a emotional roller coaster ride with this little dude. # # #
