What an awesome achievement for all three of you. You have absolutely earned your opportunity through the mahi, commitment and attitude you have shown throughout the club season.

Seeing our Hikurangi wāhine putting their hand up, stepping into representative rugby and now being recognised at this level is something our whole club can be incredibly proud of.

🔴⚫️ Hikurangi Junior Rugby 🔴⚫️

What an awesome day out for our Hikurangi U11s yesterday, travelling to Auckland to take part in the tournament hosted by Ponsonby Rugby Club.

The boys and girls put in some outstanding performances, played some great rugby and represented Hikurangi Rugby Club with plenty of pride, energy and mana. 👏🏽

A special mention to our 3 Hikurangi U11 kōtiro, who also had the opportunity to play in an all-girls team yesterday too. They embraced the experience, backed themselves and did an awesome job. What a cool opportunity and a great experience for our young players.

These are the experiences that help our tamariki grow not just as rugby players, but as confident young people, teammates and representatives of our club.
