Congratulations to New Zealand Cricket on their series win over Zimbabwe, they now roll onto South Africa good luck gents.

The return of the English Premier league saw some surprise results on the opening weekend hopefully thats a sign of a ultra competitive season ahead.

Good luck to anyone taking part in sport in the coming days remember to always have fun!

Saturday also saw Kamo Reserves who is coached by an Allsports coaching coach take the First Division championship crown, believed to be the first time Kamo have taken this title.

Sunday saw the completion of the Cobham indoor cricket league with both semi finals and then the final taking place.

Both semi finals were extremely close but NZ Refinery and Sn**ch prevailed.

Semi Final 1 - Refinery 105 Beat Kamo 87

Semi Final 2 - Sn**ch 63 beat City 60

The second semi final was an extremely close game with city leading with 2 overs to go but Sn**ch fought back and took 6 wickets in the last 2 overs to clinch their spot in the final.

Final - Sn**ch 67 lost to Refinery 82

A fantastic chase from the Refinery saw them become the Indoor Champions for 2015 a great performance.

Last Night saw the final matches in the round robin stage of the Cobham indoor cricket league. With places still up for grabs to make the last 4 and finals day the games had an extra edge about them.
At the end of the night the 4 finals teams are decided and will go head to head on Sunday 2nd August to see who can claim the trophy.

Semi Finals are as follows:

4.00pm Semi Final 1 - Kamo V NZ Refinery

5.20pm Semi Final 2 - Sn**ch V City

6.45pm Final - Winners of Semi Final 1 v Winners Semi Final 2

Last Wednesday saw the completion of the Oval indoor cricket league based at Cobham Oval. After the initial group stages the division was split into 2 groups. The finals were very competitive but played in the correct spirit, a massive congratulations to everyone who took part and the two winning sides - No fear of Beer and Ball Beaters.

The results on finals night were as follows:

Group 1 Final.

Ninjas 32 lost to No fear of Beer 95

Group 2 Final.

Sticky Wickey 79 lost to Ball Beaters 84.

Last few places left for the Multi Sport Course we are holding at Northland Cricket Cobham Oval. To reserve a place or for information message back :)

Congratulations to WGHS who took out the Junior indoor Cricket Competition on Friday evening by beating City in a very close game.

WGHS over the course of the 11 week competition ended the table on top followed closely by kamo second, Onerahi third and City fourth.

All teams advanced their skills superbly as the competition went on. congratulations to all those involved particualy the WGHS team.

After last nights round of matches 2 finalist have been booked and who the playoff game to meet them will be. Sealing their final place last night was No Fear of Beer. Also sealing their place in the plate competition final was Sticky Wickey, the other 4 teams all have possible chances of making the final!
