This afternoon we celebrated our Marist Junior Netball season. 💙💚

A huge well done to all our boys and girls who took part this season. We hope you’ve had lots of fun, made some great memories, learnt new skills and, most importantly, enjoyed playing netball. 🏐💙

A very special mention to our amazing Junior Coordinator, Viv Clegg.

Viv, we honestly can’t thank you enough for everything you have put into our juniors this season. From organising and running all the practice sessions, turning up every week for games, encouraging the kids and always having such a positive “never give up” attitude — you have been absolutely amazing.

The time, effort and care you have given to our junior players has not gone unnoticed, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our Marist family. 💙💚

As we head into Finals Day tomorrow, Whangārei Netball Centre would like to wish all teams, coaches, managers, umpires and officials the very best of luck!

Finals bring plenty of excitement but can also bring added pressure. We ask all players and supporters to remember our Positive Vibes Only message and help keep our Centre safe, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.

Please:
Treat players, umpires, officials, coaches and opposition teams with respect.
Support your team positively from the sideline.
Do not question or approach umpires during or after games.
Raise any concerns through the Control Office or the Centre’s formal complaints process.
Remember that many of our players and umpires are still developing and need encouragement and support.
There is no place for verbal abuse, intimidation, aggressive comments or behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Play hard, support positively and enjoy the occasion. Good luck to everyone taking the court tomorrow — we look forward to a fantastic Finals Day!
