💖 Our Hokianga Champions Are Ready to Welcome You 💖

From 7 - 18 September 2026, the wonderful team at Hauora Hokianga Health will be supporting the BreastScreen Aotearoa mobile service as it visits Hokianga, helping local wāhine access free breast screening closer to home.

This beautiful photo captures just some of the amazing people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support the health and wellbeing of our communities. Their dedication, care, and commitment make a real difference every day.

To all our wāhine of Hokianga, Hokianga Women's Group this is your gentle reminder to put yourself on the list too. We know life is busy. Whānau, work, mokopuna, and caring for others often come first. But looking after your own health is one of the greatest gifts you can give to those who love and depend on you.

Breast screening can find breast cancer early, often before it can be seen or felt. Early detection saves lives and gives the best chance of successful treatment.

🌿 Your health matters. 🌿 Your whānau need you. 🌿 You are worth making time for.

If you are eligible for breast screening, we encourage you to take this opportunity and book your appointment while the service is in the Hokianga. Call 0800270200.

A huge thank you to the incredible Hauora Hokianga Health team for their ongoing partnership, advocacy, and support of our wāhine and whānau. Together, we are helping improve health outcomes across our communities.

💕 Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui. Put yourself first and book your screening today.
