Anyone keen to join me on a little self imporvment experiment?
Committing just 18 minutes a day to a single skill for a year totals roughly 100 hours, which Jesse Itzler claims can make you better than 95% of the world's population in that discipline.
The Rule of 100 Explained - The math: Spending 18 minutes daily adds up to about 100 to 109 hours per year.
The time investment: This amounts to only 1.2% of your total available time in a year. The core philosophy: โIt's not about committing every second of your day to a discipline. Instead, it's about consistent, manageable dedication.โ
Why Consistency Matters Over Intensity
Compound effect: Small, daily, uninterrupted repetitions compound massively over time compared to sporadic, long sessions.
Realistic goals: You won't become an Olympic athlete or a world-class virtuoso, but you will comfortably surpass the general population's skill level.
Application: You can apply this method to learning a language, playing an instrument (I am going to learn the Guitar), exercising, your golf swing, putting, chipping.
I am going to have a go at this, your 18 minutes has to be focused with good technique, comment below if you are keen, only 18 minutes a daily.
