Laird Park Bowling Club

The team from Wedding & Event Services New Zealand have transformed our bowling club rooms into a beautiful intimate wedding reception venue for this coming weekend.

Tonight the Laird Park Dart Adjunct Played our COC Mixed Pairs. With 6 Pairs entered it was a fun enjoyable night.

Overally winner Bj and Cathy with Stace and Carol runners up. We also had Skippy hit 2 perfect 170 starts during practise round and also Phalcon our junior player hitting a perfect 180 during practise round.

Next round Sunday 4th October mens and womens pairs and singles.

We will be hosting our laird park dart adjunt club champ of champ mixed pairs on Friday 28th August 630pm. Please have your team registered with Cathy Jacobsen by thursday 27th so skippy can create a draw. Any concerns please message or ring cathy

Wow what an amazing end to the Gooch Single and to the entire weekend. Today we saw 26 singles take to the oche and it was a hard faught battle all the way but with an amazing170 finish from Royce Bailey to put him into the final against CC Mr Craig Cadwell and then coming out victorious to win the Singles. Well done Royce on being the 2026 Singles Winner.

Thanks to all the Laird Park Members for all the help over the weekend to make this event a success.

Wow what an amazing first day for the Steve Gooch Open Pairs being held at Laird Park Bowling Club today very good turnout with 23 pairs participating. There were some amazing darts played by everyone but below are the overall winners

Craig & Brian, men's pairs winners. Bryan and Stace 2nd. Jono and Aaron 3rd. Rhanda and Char womens pairs winners and Lee and AJ mixed winners.

Please be advised that the Laird Park Bowling Club carpark is undergoing upgrades over the next four days. We ask all members to exercise caution when arriving at the club and to refrain from parking on any areas of the carpark that are still under construction.

Housie patrons this coming wednesday please adhere to this and dont make your own parking to suit yourself please for health and safety reasons

What an awesome day at Foxton and Beach Bowling Club i had with Lachlan Natusch from Aramoho Bowling Club. 3 very narrow losses on the last end of each of those 3 games lossing to 3 tie breakers and had 1 very good win for our last game. Not a bad result for us juniors playing against senior players and rep players. Thanks for an awesome day.
