Ian and Julie from FishOn Charters would like to advise you all that the Skipper has hung up his skipper’s cap and retired as of April 🤗 After 8 charter seasons it’s time to work on other projects. We have enjoyed every one of the many charters and fab crews over this time and enjoyed sharing our piece of paradise with you all. Great day yesterday out on the ocean with the FishOn ‘Nauti Girls’ team 🤗 gorgeous weather☀️calm seas 🛥️ lots of action 🎣🦈🐟 with a Trevally and a snapper worth weighing in 🤩 altho not big enough for a prize 😜 great snacks and wonderful friends and family for company 🤩 The day was completed with the Nauti Girls prize giving at the Memorial Hall - a new venue this year 👍 Good Work Whangamata Ocean Sports Club thanks for a great competition 🤩👍🎣🛥️

FishOn’s WOSC Classic Game Fish Competition Crew had a great 2 days out on the ocean chasing Marlin but although they had a couple of strikes there was none to tag or bring in! The 3rd day the weather was not that great so a rest day ready for prize giving that night - and the Nauti Girls Crew’s good luck the weekend before rubbed off onto this crew with everyone receiving a prize - great work guys - the weathers looking good for the rest of February to get some more time out on the ocean🎣🎣🤗

FishOn Charters WOSC Nauti Girls Crew had a lucky time at the competition prize giving - the comp was cancelled due to poor weather conditions (although we did go out for a quick fish at slipper) and all prizes were given out as spot prizes with FishOn’s Crew receiving 5 prizes - a great end to a fun day 🎣🎣🤩😝 and fish for dinner the next day 👍bonus 🎣

January’s weather has been fabulous with many crews enjoying time out on the ocean with FishOn🤩 Fishing wasn’t the greatest with the snapper being elusive even the wee ones at times 🎣🎣🎣But the weather and sea conditions made for lots of fun times with friends & family groups - great memories made 🤗 Slipper Island and Mayor Island we’re top picks for family trips 👍 Here are some pics from January’s charters, enjoy 🤗

Fishon December on the ocean is drawing to a close with daily bookings for most of the end of the year! Mostly business and family groups celebrating 2023 achievements and hard work 🤗 fishing catch numbers still a little slow but improving as time goes on 🤗yay! Many groups enjoying a mixed charter with fishing/bbq lunch/swim and relax around Slipper Island 🤩 a great day/half day out 🙌👍 enjoy these pics of some of December out on the ocean 😂

Season 6 is well underway for FishOn Charters! November was a great wind up month with many weekend and late week groups taking advantage of the early warm weather.
