Hukanui Adventure Team

With the years' racing done and dusted it was time for the team to give back to our main sponsor Trek 'n' Travel. The kids talked about their gear, races, and what it meant to be sponsored. We are all incredibly thankful and grateful that we have had Colin and Amy on board this year and look forward to what 2019 will bring! 🚴‍♂️🚵‍♀️🏕️⛰️🧗‍♀️🧗‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Super proud of the team today. We competed in the Opoutere School Adventure Race. They smashed it. Collected all CP (check points) all BP (bonus points) and completed the mystery challenges. The team managed all this and finished with roughly 27min to spare. Amazing effort and a great way to finish up our year of racing! All this and they are back home in time to head to the school disco.

Planning the night before at Race Registration

Amazing race today. The kids did a fantastic job. Started with a challenging bike and a few technical issues. The team powered through worked together to find checkpoints and complete mystery tasks. Huge thanks to our supporters and sponsors Trek 'n' Travel Hukanui School PTA. Great work organising an epic event Bivouac Outdoors Whangamata Adventure Race.

On the final trek and finishing with a couple of minutes to spare of the 3 hr time limit - awesome effort team.👍
