Remembering Barry Lodge Benson

Benson, Barry Lodge. On Wednesday, 12 August 2026, Peacefully at Whakatāne Hospital after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 90.
1936–2026
Much loved husband to the late Barbara
Dad to Mark and Nancy, Dave and Lyn, Linley and Jason.
Grandad to Connor and Rebecca, Devon and Jordan, Sam, Aimee
and Poppy to Levi, Arabella, Harlowe, Jai, Remi and Lily.

As per Dad’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.
A celebration of Barrys life will be held on Saturday, 22 August, at 1pm, at home 26 Awakeri Road Awakeri.
