If you saw my stories lately you would have seen this already - but here it is!

Friday classes will be starting in Term 3 and I am hoping theyre just as epic as the Wednesdays.

The decision didnt come lightly, I've done Wednesday classes for years. I know I'll be losing some regular mums because it doesn't align with their schedule. But, for me, I need to change up my schedule so that I can be a better instructor and less stressed about rushing off to my next job.

If you're keen to join, then I'd love your support πŸ’Ÿ DM to register your interest.

Last week's back carry graduates ready to do Kanga with a different view.

Personally, at around 9-10 months my kids just always wanted to push off my chest and look around. When I moved them to my back, it stopped that, it gave them a different view, and in return I had the front free to either cook, do bush walks, run errands, or just feel slightly less overstimulated than having them on my front.

Is this your baby too? It might be time to try them on your back!

Happy International Day of the Midwife πŸ‘πŸ«Ά

Forever grateful for the support I had during my 3 pregnancies and homebirths and postnatal care with these two amazing midwives. I received so much more than just clinical support, they were a listening ear, milo makers, a shoulder to cry on, support for our older kids. And Flynn was born at 6.44am so we even shared bacon butties together after that.

Thank you for your commitment to supporting our whānau πŸ’™

Eight years ago I became a mum

From figuring out the newborn days, to the toddler stages, navigating the preschool years and the big emotions, to actually realizing these big emotions are here for good.

Babywearing started off as a convenience thing for me, handsfree while I did stuff. But it ended up being so much more. Nap times were better for him, it was a chance for connection for both of us, and in the toddler years a chance to calm both of our nervous systems.

If there's anything I've learnt in the last 8 years, its that you're not just holding your baby, you're building trust, security and love that lasts a lifetime πŸ’«

To all you amazing mamas in the thick of it - you're doing an amazing job πŸ’™
