Well done to all KUTC Junior and Little Ace members who played interclub in 2025-2026. A big thanks to Cyperus Tennis+Fitness who helped organise teams and specially those parents and caregivers who managed teams throughout the season.
Congratulations to the KU 1 Hot Shots Boys team who won their grade in pre-Xmas and to the KU2 Mixed Hot Shots team who won their grade both pre-Xmas and post-Xmas.

F𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲?
We're looking for someone to join Karori United's Committee as a volunteer in the role of Treasurer to start asap.

You'd be part of a close-knit team who take pleasure and pride in managing everything behind the scenes for our 200 plus members to enjoy top notch facilities.

By doing so you'd benefit the Karori community because the club is about more than tennis - it's also about friendship through sport and connecting people/organisations in the community

Would suit either a graduate looking to develop some work experience, or someone with experience looking to give back to the community.

Our previous (awesome) Treasurer joined us as a new immigrant who, with the work experience she developed, has landed a full-time tole - we will miss her!

The role would require approx 4 hours per month and would involve compiling short monthly reports, attending monthly committee meetings, paying invoices and preparing end of year statements etc.

We have all our records and templates set up on MYOB and Word/Excel fyi so you wouldn't be starting from scratch.

The KUTC contingent enjoyed the TCC awards evening and pleased to be on hand to congratulate the club's winning 2025-26 senior interclub teams - KU2 Tecnifibre Mens Saturday team, KU3 Tecnifibre Womens Doubles Tuesday night team, and KU2/Talavera Womens Midweek Summer team. Well done those teams.

Congrats also to Allister who, we reckon, scored the best bag in the money or the bag entertainment.

A big thanks to Peter Browne for yet again running an entertaining and enjoyable Over 40s tournament👏 Well done to all the participants and congratulations to the winners.

KUTC's Midweek section wound up its regular season with a fun tournament, prize giving and a shared lunch. Congratulations to all the winners.
Club days continue through the winter, so come along for a hit Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9-30 -12 noon.

If you think your game could do with some fine tuning, this might be for you.

KUTC's coaching provider, Cyperus Tennis + Fitness, is offering adult drop-in coaching sessions at the club's courts at 16 Campbell Street, Karori starting this coming Friday.

KUTC members and supporters were treated to a feast of competitive tennis over the Anzac weekend as players battled it out in the club's Open Championships. It was a fantastic three days and the weather really turned it on. Great tennis from everyone involved! Congratulations to all our winners.
A huge thanks to Mark Storey for organising and running such a smooth tournament. And cheers to all the other helpers, especially the cooks - the baking and the BBQ were definitely appreciated.

KUTC's Open Club Championship tournament is on this long weekend. Weather forecast is looking great. Come along to see our aces in action and cheer on your favourites. Looking forward to seeing many of you.
