*Thomson bullied into Boxing Day attendance*
In breaking news, the Moas have added reigning Player’s Player Matt Thomson to their Boxing Day squad, after peer pressure got the best of him during the Moas Xmas do.
What started as a casual conversation soon turned into a s**t version of the amazing race as three Moas all scrambled to book flights a few days out from the Moas first overseas fixture. Bellman, Turner and Thomson went head to head to secure flights as the puppet master Willsy looked on. In a predictable outcome, the Moa without a wife secured his flights first and it was rumbos all round.
Thomson’s ability to get around the boys will be a welcome addition to a playing group that will be at the back end of a three day bender.

*Where there’s a Willsy there’s a way*
After two heavy losses to start the season, the Moas have been buoyed by the inclusion of star all rounder Matthew Wills for their next fixture. The explosive opening batsman and n**e tweaker has confirmed himself as ‘in’ after a fortnights hiatus.
Willsys return has drawn comparisons to the fresh prince, aka Will Smith, injecting himself into a Bel Air Academy side down on confidence and general skill levels in 1994. Smith guided Bel Air to 10 on the trot, before Uncle Phil suffered a heart attack in the stands against West Hollywood.
It’s hoped Willsy can inspire more than cardiac arrest as the Moas look to rebuild their season this Wednesday. More to come.
