🌟 NZ Secondary School Champs 2026 ‼️

Many of our BW Junior Reps represented their school in the New Zealand Secondary School Champs last week. It was held at Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua from 30th Aug - 2nd Sept 2026.

💛 North Island / WN U15 Champs 2026 was held on 22nd & 23rd August. 12 of Badminton Wellington Rep players entered and competed in it, with many great results achieved! Amazing effort put in, training has paid off! Looking forward to see more outstanding work put in for the next chapters for our players!! 🔥

In Memory of Steven Kirk,

We share the news of the passing of Steven Kirk, a stalwart of Te Arawa Badminton Club while also serving on the Wellington Badminton Association Management Committee at various times.

Steven gave the better part of 30 years to Te Arawa Club as a player and committee member, supporting and encouraging fellow players along the way. He represented Wellington at the highest level and attended World Masters events. Steven was a strong supporter of the sport.

Our thoughts are with Steven's family and friends at this time.

Rest in peace, Steven.
