Introducing our MVP for the Mike Greer Homes U16 Super Challenge for 2026 - ELLIE FU! Ellie played a massive part in the Thunder Girls performance during the week and she was constantly breaking open the midfield with electric pace. Congratulations, Ellie!

The registrations for the 2026 season are now open. Please register as early as possible.

Registration for 2026 season Games start early May 2026. We provide training all year round for yr 1/2 and training and games for yrs 3-8. The 2026 annual fee is $140 per year ($65 for training all year round and $75 for WHA competition and association costs). The training costs for the second child is $35. Training starts late...

Thank you to Wellington College for giving us their old unused foldable steel goals for our indoor hockey. After hours of cleaning them with steel brushes, sanding, spray with rust converter and painting the goals, this is what they are look like.
Thank you to Theo for all his help and Isla and Scott for helping with the transport. The indoor centre has a new floor with hockey circles!

Thank you so much to BRC Charitable Trust again for funding the Geckos Hockey Club WHA turf fees at NHS for the 2026 season. This will help us keeping the subs low next year.

Come and join us for free summer training in terms 4 and 1 for yrs 1-7, Wednesdays from 4-5pm at the National Hockey Stadium turf 3.

Congratulation to Milla, our former Gecko player and coach of our awesome yr 7/8 team, for winning the Premier 1 Championship with her Hutt United Hockey Club team with a 2:0 vs Dalefield HC.

Our yr 5/6 and yr 7/8 Gecko teams are having a great time in Napier at the Big Save Furniture tournament. Thanks to all parents, guest players, and helpers making this happen!
