Congratulations to the Wellington Sāmoa Kirikiti Association - WSKA, one of four recipients of the Community Impact Award at last night’s 2026 Wellington Regional Sports Awards. A fantastic recognition of the work they’ve done to grow and support kirikiti in Wellington 👏

Cricket Wellington is saddened by the sudden passing of former Wellington representative Gail Ives.

Gail represented Wellington across both two-day and one-day cricket, scoring more than 600 runs and taking 54 wickets in two-day cricket. She was also a much-loved PE teacher at Wellington Girls’ College for more than 38 years.
