Equine cremation remains relatively new in this country, but it is steadily gaining support among equestrians wanting to give their equines a dignified departure over the rainbow bridge. With cremations almost weekly at the Rural Guardian facility in the Waikato, they're adding to their facilities and also providing post-mortem examinations that can bring greater knowledge to qualified vets and trainees at Massey University.
