Scott Mudgway: JCC Life Member #26
At tonight’s AGM, we had the privilege of bestowing the clubs highest honour to a true Johnsonville Cricket Club legend who has served our humble community for more than two decades.
Scott Mudgway made his JCC premier debut in 2004. He hung up his gloves twenty years later as the most capped player, highest run scorer, and with the most keeping dismissals in club history. However, it was off the pitch where Scott truly made his mark on the club. From repainting the clubhouse, to religiously doing covers before and after games, to coaching the future generation, and everything in between, Mudge did it all. And he never did it for the recognition. It was purely out of love for the game and his beloved club.
Scott was awarded his life membership by club chairman, and former longtime teammate, Chris Leach, in the presence of current life members George Verry (1992), Dallas Mildenhall (1995), current president Nigel Blair (2000), and his father Rick Mudgway (2022).
Congratulations, Scott Mudgway!

National champions! 🏆
Congrats to our very own Blake Taylor, Xavier Falconer, Kacey McCully and coaches Chris Leach and Connor L***y on their triumphant weekends down in Christchurch!
Wellington walked away with winners medals in the premier women, U22 Boys, and U22 Girls grades, while a couple more of our own, Reece and Brett Edgecombe, brought home the plate in the premier men’s division.
Tino pai team, way to do us proud!

South Africa bound 🇿🇦🛫
A huge congrats to our own Mira Patel, Blake Taylor and Xavier Falconer who have been selected to represent our country at the WICF Junior World Series in September!
JCC won’t just be repped on the court, with Mr. Jville Connor L***y also on the plane as head coach of the U16 Girls side.
The quartet will depart for Pretoria in mid September, and will need our help to get there. Keep your eyes peeled on ways you can help our crew fundraise.
Beyond proud of you all!

That's a wrap on 25/26!
We held our annual prizegiving a little over a week ago to celebrate a season where we accomplished plenty, both on and off the pitch.
Congrats to all of our prize winners, and thank you all for an amazing season. Winter well, and we'll see you in spring for 26/27!
