Cricket Wellington has launched the Wellington Blaze Academy, a new initiative within its High-Performance programme designed to provide a clear and connected pathway for emerging female cricketers.
The inaugural Academy cohort features 10 players who will take part in a 12-month programme focused on development, performance support and preparing for the next level of the game.
The Academy officially launched last Wednesday, with players, parents and Cricket Wellington staff coming together at the launch event.
