It may be winter out there, but this GT has us hankering for sunshine, fish & chips, and summer beach trips ☀️

Josh bought this bike new in the early 90's, and after a prolonged retirement up the coast, he was keen to get it ready for the urban commute.

The front end of this generation of mountain bike is notoriously low. Thanks to the lads at VibeBikes, a fresh set of high-rise bars, combined with the fork, brings the front of the bike up to a more respectable height.

Shimano NZ 🤝 Matairangi Trail Builders 🤝 Get Lost Cycling

Awkward three way handshakes aside, we're proud to have worked with the good folk at Shimano Bike New Zealand to raise almost $6,000 for the Matairangi Trail Builders ✨

Shimano's support for the 2026 Mt Vic Enduro means that we're able to give back to the trails we know and love. A bit of cash goes a long way if you know the right people, and we're confident that the trails will end out running better than ever!

Our third annual Bike Swap was bigger and better than ever! 20 tables full of parts meant there was something for everyone, and the Show & Shine was a great opportunity to show off some of Wellington's tidiest rides.

Thanks to the good folks at Coffee Supreme we were even able to raise $250 for our friends at the TheMechanicalTempest ❤️
