The Warkworth Butchery and the Joy Harper-Keeley Sponsored OAC 2 bowl triples was held on Saturday the 22nd of August 2026.

Another beautiful day greeted us winter bowlers and with it the final day on the green for our winter Saturday tournaments.

We were joined with bowlers from Mangawhai, Orewa, Mahu East and Manly and we thank you all for travelling and joining us.

Below are the winners of three of the scrumptious meat packs put together by Warkworth Butchery. To our Patron Joy Harper-Keeley we as always appreciate your sponsorship and thank you.

The Women's and Men's 1-5 Championship Pairs was held yesterday 19 August on a splendid winters day and with it the final event for the 2025-26 season.
It was a great day of bowls with lots of concentration and some really good competion. Three members experienced their first Champ Event. It was great to have you on the green. Thank you for your entries. Jane Watt, Antionette Stear and Gordon Mann.

The Ray White OAC Triples was held on Saturday the 8th of August.
Congratulations to Brian, Keith and Dave from Mangawhai Bowling Club who took out top prize with 3 1/2 wins. The day was made even better by an amazing day of no wind and partial cloud. A perfect bowling day.

It was wonderful to have Carol and Emma from Ray White Warkworth join us for the prize giving. Thank you for your continued sponsorship of the day, you are very much appreciated.

Below is a picture of our Warkworth boys winning the Mahurangi Easts Tuesday 4th August OAC Triples.
Being the only team to manage 4 wins they therefore took home the prize.

The Women's Winter Cup concluded on Friday 24 July.

Let's be proud of our 4 ladies who after 3 playing Friday's and 7 games they took top honours in Section 1 with 18 game points out of a possible 21.
So with that Michelle, Cynthia, Fran and Wendy stepped on the rink to face the Section 2 team winner Birkenhead, to play out "The Final".

A tense and exciting game was played with the final score after 12 ends being 24-18. Congratulations Birkenhead a game well played. The happy Runners-Up faces shown below tell their own story.

The Summerset OAC Triples was played on Saturday the 25th of July. It was was a day of wind, rain and healthy smiles and a day when we waited for that team to win 4 games so that we could congratulate them with a Warkworth Butchery meat pack.
Congratulations Stew, Steve and Scott. Thanks guys and thanks Summerset for a great tournament. A special thanks also to our volunteers of the day. We love you all.

The Leigh Fisheries and M.P. Lighting & Electrical OAC Fours was won by Ross, Mike J, Mike B and Dave. A big thank you to our 2 sponsors of the day without you both we wouldn't have had so much competition and fun.
