School ski week is just around the corner! So here's Racers Edge ambassador Tom Akass' top tips!
"After years of teaching kids on the mountain, I've learnt that the gear that makes the biggest difference isn't always the skis or snowboard...
🥽 Good goggles. If they fit properly and don't fog up, kids can actually see where they're going, stay focused, and enjoy their lessons.
🧤 Warm, waterproof gloves. Cold, wet hands are one of the quickest ways to turn a fun day into a miserable one. Hand warmers on those really cold days are great!
⛑️ A helmet that fits properly and is up to standard. Comfort and safety go hand in hand.
🍫 Pocket snacks! A muesli bar or two can be a lifesaver when energy starts to dip before lunch.
A few small things can make a huge difference to your child's confidence, comfort and enjoyment on the mountain."
