Dance West as a ballet school with new purpose built studios. Follows the RAD syllabus for ballet and NZAMD contemporary syllabus.
Children as young as three years old have the ability to learn at their own pace by way of a new and innovative programme by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Children are then encouraged to progress from this stage to the various levels where there is an opportunity to sit exams as arranged by RAD. There is also opportunity for children who have made significant progress to attend private lessons

Beautiful Autumn from Grade 1 is this months dancer of the month. Quietly and consistently is how she worked all year long for her exam. The effort and work showed as every week she returned with things improving. Well done Autumn! 🩰

Four long days with 100 kids sitting Royal Academy of Dance NZ exams from Pre-Primary - Advanced 1. Congratulations to all those who completed their exams!! 🩰🩰

Plus massive shout out to Jenny Wu and the Wuwu girls for helping set up, pack up and run the ship while the chaos unfolded downstairs. And of course my family and Beata on her superstar hairdos.

100 exam rehearsals, privates and lessons later! The holidays were jammed packed and we had close to 100% attendance! Outstanding work from everyone. Now it’s full steam ahead to the exams!! Thanks to everyone for their hard work 🩰 and thanks to the teachers for their hard work too 🥰

The return of Dancer of the month. No one more deserving in every teachers eyes this month than Lily 🩰. Working hard for 2 major exams coming up by attending extra lessons all week long. Lily is a delight to teach as every correction is given the focus and dedication needed. She also is the very deserving recipient of products from sahlo | tween + teen skincare ❤️

Kathy was lucky enough to do classes with world renowned and .martz as she undertook an audition with . From all accounts, Mum Joanna was just as enthralled sitting close to world class masters! What an experience!
