Update- AGM is the 11th of December at the Waihi RSA at 6-30 pm in The Garrison Room. Update for the club is that repair work is a slow process moving forward and the courts will unfortunately not be open this year. We are working together with the council to bring the much needed repair work and should hopefully have further information early in the new year. In the mean time, a date to keep in mind is our AGM - Lock in Wed 11th December 6.30 pm for AGM.

PSA - Waihi Squash Courts are now closed, sorry for any inconvenience, the courts and building will be closed for up to 2 months while repair and much needed maintenance work is done. We will keep you updated as we go, thank you.

Good morning Good people and a Happy New Year and start to 2024. We have some exciting times ahead for the Waihi Social Squash Club. We are currently working with council and Sport'n'Action Waihi to tidy the place up and do some much needed maintenance. During this time there will be no new memberships while we complete these tasks. Once done we will let you all know and be back to normal with a fresh new look on the courts. Thanks for your patience.

Kids and adults Coaching is not on for the next 4 weeks. Please do not come to squash tomorrow no one will be there. We will be in touch with our attendees when we know more.

Coronavirus Squash NZ Update - 19th March 2020

In line with the increasing preventative measures in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and our collective responsibility to the wider squash community, Squash New Zealand and the 11 squash districts have suspended all National and District run events/competitions/training squads until May 1st effective immediately. It is strongly advised that clubs follow this lead and suspend all club events and competitions until the same date May 1st effective immediately.

National events affected:

Aon New Zealand Junior Open – Postponed until further notice

All high-performance squads – Cancelled between 19th March 2020 and 1st May 2020

District competitions/events affected:

All District run Interclub – Cancelled between 19th March 2020 and 1st May 2020

All District Opens - Cancelled between 19th March 2020 and 1st May 2020

All District run training squads – Cancelled between 19th March 2020 and 1st May 2020

Decisions about attendance at any squash activity should be made with regard for the best interests of yourself, your whanau and your community.

Squash New Zealand and the squash districts will continue to monitor the ever-changing situation. Please continue to check in with the Squash New Zealand website www.squashnz.co.nz and the social media channels for further updates.

Waihi Squash Club we would like to keep everyone as safe and healthy as they can possibly be, this means if you are feeling unwell then hold off the game till when you are better........hygiene is king, so please keep this at the foremost of your mind, see you all on the other side of the zombie apocalypse
